Page Revision: 2014/10/13 11:00

Below I will post the small version of some of the interesting pictures with comments, click on the image for a full resolution version. You can also browse the raw archive grouped by year and date of download at: Trailcam Archive. The files with "(Small)" in the name are low resolution versions for quicker previewing, the others are the full files from the camera. I have it set to take 3 megapixel resolution at night and 10 megapixel during the day, and to take 3 pictures per trigger. The date and time plus temperature, barometer, and moon phase should be at the bottom of each picture. If you find something interesting that I didn't put below let me know, sometimes I don't look real close if I'm busy.

Previous year blogs are available on the Trail Cam Blogs annual index page which is also accessible from the link in the left side navigation bar.

Bottom

As usual, starting off slow because of snow and cold.

Image

Download on 1/31 had only one blurred fox and a bunch of Pablo.

Downloads on 2/24 and 3/9 had nothing but snow... nothing moving out there on the tundra now. 3/16 had 43 pictures of blowing snow and 2 of Pablo from when we went to do the download.

Got one fox during the day, and again at night.

Image

More animals starting to roam.. got a pair of racoons this week.

Image

Lots of radio activity this last week so got a bunch of Hams wandering around... First, the rare Mikey in the wild.

Image

Then one of many appearances of the common Pablo...

Image

More Hams on the hoof...

Image

The first deer I have caught wandering around in a while:

Image

More Hams...

Image

Another night time visitor

Image

Not much last week, this week there are more deer wandering around, some more hams, and this little critter:

Image

Another slow week. More deer, more hams, and one little fox.

Colorful week.... first a black bird.

Image

Then neighbors.

Image

Then a black dog, and me, and a new tree down in the stream.

Image

Then a black cat.

Image

And finally a green Deere.

Image

But even though I saw deer on the road and a moose in the yard, none of them went past the camera... or maybe the battery is dead and it won't take night pictures again.

I charged the battery up and now its taking night pictures again, but the time is off by about 12 hours. But I did get a blurry picture of a little fawn with mommy.

Image

6/21... really not much recently worth posting on here. You can go look at the archive if you want, this last week there weren't even any deer, just a raccoon, fox, and maybe a ground hog or beaver at night.

6/29... lots of pictures this week... but lots of them were a flock of crows and a couple of deer loitering in front of the camera. A few shots of some deer during the day. But not much that looked really nice or unique to put on this page.

7/11... just an ohhhhh so cute moment.... wait up mom!

Image

Well, at least some interesting stuff... a deer with antlers to start:

Image

Then a coyote

Image

A nice buck poses for a portrait.

Image

A skunk??

Image

This buck just likes posing I guess:

Image

10/12 Big buck hasn't been posing for a while, didn't see much interesting in the last 2 weeks. Lots of deer just wandering by and some neighbors but nothing special.
